FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. Do you travel to the client on the day of the event? If yes, is there a fee?
A. We are an on-location company which means we are mobile so we come to you for all your pre-wedding as well as wedding-day hair and makeup needs. The travel fee may vary if it is outside of the areas I service. There is no fee for Charlotte and its surrounding area.

Q. How far in advance should a client book your services?
A. I recommend making beauty services top propriety!!  You should book at least 6 to 9 months in advance if not sooner. However, if you are getting married during a peak month like May or October you should book my services right away to secure your date. Hair and Makeup is the very 1st thing people will notice on your wedding day. Then they will look at everything else, while you are standing at the altar, and even throughout the night they will be looking at your face and believe it or not your hair.

Q. Do you specialize in textured hair?
A. We can do any and all types of hair. When picking a style, if your hair can do it, we can do it.

Q. How many customers can you serve at one time if the bride were to book her entire bridal party? Are there discounts for doing so?
A. I, myself,  have done as many as 13 girls and 4 weddings in one day. So large parties are totally ok. If there is a need we can provide you with two artists on your special day. Large or small we are here to help make your wedding day memorable, easy, peaceful, and relaxing, with no added travel stress! We do offer large party discounts.

Q. When should I do the trial session?
A. As long as your date is reserved with me you can wait until the month before your event if you need to. I have had Brides do their trials the week of the wedding. I do, however, recommend you have all the headpieces/veils you plan to use. Any hair and makeup ideas/pictures are always helpful. If you plan to make any changes to your hair like grow or cut it do that before your trial. Have your color done about a week before the trial so you can see how the color will look. If you plan to use extensions have those at the trial session. If you plan to tan or not tan. Anything that will change the way you look and feel, should be done before the session (but if not its ok adjustments can be made).

Q. Do you provide any specialty services? (airbrushing, hair extensions, etc.)
A. We offer traditional and airbrush makeup, Tattoo cover-up, on-location waxing services, and much more.  If you have the hair extensions we will put them in and use them if they are 100% human hair. We do not glue or sew in extensions at this time. We can use hair extensions or tracks to add volume, length, or to add thickness to an updo.

Q. Do you charge for trials?
A. Yes, please email me for a complete package list of my services. The trial session is up to a 3-hour appointment. We will try all the hair and makeup looks you wish until we decide on the look that makes you feel amazing. Once we find your look, I will take pictures and make notes. Then on the wedding day, I will just come in and duplicate your hair and makeup from your trial session, Giving you the confidence to know you will love how you look.

Q. What types of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and credit cards (a processing fee will apply to credit card payments)

Q. Everything sounds great and I am ready to book. What are my next steps?
