Pro Secrets for Perfect Bridal
Hair
Don’t:
Skip your trail run. You
and Creations’ Stylist both need to see how your chosen style will
work with the length and texture of your hair, as well as the veil
and/or headpiece.
Make any changes before the big
day. Hair color, perms, and even trims can cause hair
disasters-one mistake, and your perfect hair becomes a damaged ball
of frizz that’s too short to style!
Use any special treatments.
A lot of ladies think they’re helping their stylist by using deep
conditioners and special serums but those treatments can make the
hair too heavy and slick to style.
Wash your hair, unless your
stylist requests it. Nine out of ten, second day hair is easier
to style.
Do:
Relax!!
Nervousness is the number one cause in hair disasters. “Brides are
trying to make everything so perfect, they go overboard” So take a
deep breath, and let creations work their magic.

Perfect Wedding Hair
Seven Great tips:
1.If you have do your hair colored, permed or
treated, have it done at least two weeks before your wedding date.
Hair color looks its best the first two weeks and the extra time
will soften your style a bit, so it looks more natural. Also, should
a disaster strike, you will have time to fix it. If a permanent
wave is necessary, have it done a month prior to the wedding.
2. Hair that is too fine and over-conditioned
does not style well, so again deep conditioning treatments should
not be used within four days of the wedding.
3. For best styling results, shampoo hair
lightly the day before the wedding and, if possible, do not wash
hair the day of the
wedding.
4.
Get a trim a few weeks before your wedding date to neaten up your
tresses and eliminate split ends. 5.
Having your hair done for a big event is very different from getting
a great cut or color. So hiring a specialist for your bridal needs
is a good idea 6. Six months before
the wedding, have a major consultation with your stylist of choice.
Bring along the headpiece and the picture of the dress if possible.
The more the stylist knows about the mood of the wedding, the better
he or she can create the perfect hairstyle. 7. Consider the time of day and type of wedding
when choosing a style. Loose styles are appropriate for informal
weddings, while up-do's portray a formal look. Remember that
some hairstyles can add inches to a bride's height, and shorter
brides may want to use this to their
advantage.
** A
BONUS HONEYMOON HAIR TIP! If you're headed to a warm, sunny
destination, keep your locks luscious by putting SPF 30 sunscreen on
just the ends of your hair. It'll keep damage to a minimum and
preserve your color. **
