Perfect Wedding Hair
Seven Great
tips:
1.Having your hair done for a big event is very
different from getting a great cut or color. So hiring a
specialist for your bridal needs is the best idea.
2. Three to Six
months before the wedding, have a major consultation with your
stylist of choice. However, you should book them 6 to 12
months in advance. Bring along the veil/head piece and the
picture of the dress if possible. The more the stylist knows
about the mood of the wedding, the better he or she can create
the perfect hair style.
3. Consider the time of day and type of wedding
when choosing a style. Loose styles are appropriate for
informal weddings, while up-do's portray a formal look.
Remember that some hairstyles can add inches to a bride's
height, and shorter brides may want to use this to their
advantage
4. For best
styling results, shampoo hair lightly the day before the
wedding and, if possible, do not wash hair the day of the
wedding.
5. Hair that is too fine and over-conditioned does
not style well, so again deep conditioning treatments should
not be used within four days of the wedding. Do not flat iron
your hair the day of the wedding it will not style as good and
makes the work harder for your
artist.
6. Get a trim a
few weeks before your wedding date to neaten up your tresses
and eliminate split ends.
7. .If you
have get your hair colored, permed or treated, have it
done at least two/four weeks before your wedding date. Hair
color looks its best the first few weeks and the extra time
will soften your style a bit, so it looks more natural. Also,
should a disaster strike, you will have time to fix
it.
** A BONUS
HONEYMOON HAIR TIP! If you're headed to a warm, sunny
destination, keep your locks luscious by putting SPF 30
sunscreen on just the ends of your hair. It'll keep damage to
a minimum and preserve your color **

Perfect Wedding Makeup
Seven Great
Tips to Perfect Makeup:

1. A Clean Pallet: The secret to
great makeup is great skin care! Make sure that you are using the best skin
regimen on the market! If you are not using a good daily
skin care regimen, then you are not doing the best you can to
make your skin look flawless. Our job is to make you look
picture perfect on your wedding day. We use nothing
but the best products on our clients. We recommend
Mary Kay Skin Care. It is what we have used for years for the best
looking skin imaginable. It is the #1 skin care
nationwide.
2. Create
the Base: It is most important to
find a foundation that matches your skin tone. Test two or
more foundations side by side along the lower cheek and
selecting the shade that seems to disappear into the skin.
Also critical to creating a flawless face, Concealer: First use cover-up under
and on any problems areas, then foundation to even out
the skin tone and last apply powder
with a big brush to lock everything in
place.
3. Get Cheeky: Don't forget to
apply a pop of color on the apples of the cheeks. The key to
blush is to select a color that best goes with your skin
tone, cheeks don't always have to be pink! Go with
colors that are suitable for you. Bronzers and highlighters
will make your cheek bones pop while accenting your
features at the same time.
4. The Eyes Have It:
Choosing your colors is very important and you must consider
your skin tone, the time of day, and the atmosphere of the
wedding. Do you like soft and saddle or dark and
smoke! Play up the eyes! As it was once said "the
eyes are the window to your soul" When he looks into your eyes
let him see your from the inside out. Try using three
different colors. One for all over, second to accent and third
to high lite. Color is fun so don't be afraid to try
it. Be sure to use an eye shadow primer for longer stay
power. Eyeliner is meant to be a
base for the mascara but can be applied heavy on top if you
like that look as well.
5. Luscious Lashes: Mascara Ladies! Love
it! Mascara it a very important part of the finishing touches.
Waterproof is essential for the wedding day. If you have
short or very straight lashes you can curl the lashes to
enhance their look with an eyelash curler. Start at the base
of lash line and gently squeeze the curler for a few seconds.
Move it out toward the lash ends and squeeze again. You
may want to consider false lashes for a really
dramatic look. However, if you have never worn false lashes
try them out a few times before the wedding, so you
get use to the way they feel. Have your artist try the
false lashes at your design session and/or portrait
session.
Brow Power: Don't forget brows:
Eyebrows can definitely make a difference in how your photos
look. Once you achieve the right shape either with a
pro or at home, it is very important to keep them
properly maintenance. Eye brows are alot like the hair on your
head, once you get a good shape, you should keep it so
the touch up/follow up appointments will be easier
to handle and they will always look great. So make sure
you keep your brows clean and properly shaped. If they need to
be filled, fill them with a eyebrow pencil or neutral color
eye shadow. The best way to coax brows in place is to
apply brow gel or hair spray to an eyebrow brush and comb
them into place.
6. Makeup, Then Kiss: The lips are
the obvious place to go for glamour. Although gloss is great
don't be afraid to play with some lip color for
enhancement. In general, the darker your skin tone, the darker
you can go with your lip color. Burgundy and blackcherry are
beautiful on dark skin. While women with medium skin tone look
pretty in current or red, and those with light skin look best
in low voltage neutrals and glosses. But I do love fair skin,
dark hair with red lips! So keep in mind you can try any
color you like. Everyone's lip has its own shade, so color
selection is very important. The look is always enhanced
with gloss over top. If your bottom lip is paler than your
top, you can even them out by applying a sheer, dark lipstick
to your lower lip as a base, then sweeping the same lipstick
over both lips. If you want to have very full lips that don't
require too much enhancement, avoid bright, attention getting
colors and stick to quiet, flattering shades instead like
caramel or brown. Try lip stain, water resist or color stay
lipstick for the wedding day. Won't rub off, Perfect for
Kissing the Groom!
7. Powder Power: Powder should
be used at the end to lock in your look. If you get shiny
throughout the day use a beauty blotter or rice sheet, to
remove the oil without removing the makeup. You can also keep
that fresh look by apply a nice sweep of powder as needed
throughout the night.
Now your makeup can look like the pros did
it!
